Got a Phone today.

After a lot of fussing around with payment options and various requisites for purchase, I was finally able to secure myself a phone today. I went with the cheapest plan possible, which I'm a little worried about because if someone unintentionally sends me a picture, I could be pushed over my plan limit. It's a pretty sweet-looking piece of machine, though...

I also saw a little parade marching through the street for seemingly no reason. There was a marching band blasting patriotic tunes, and there were some sort of cheerleader baton girls cheering them on. Also, some important-looking people were in tow.

Finally, on my walk to work on Friday, it was raining, and I stumbled upon a HUGE praying mantis on the sidewalk. It's probably hard to tell from the picture I took, but this sucker was about as long as my outstretched hand and about 3~4 inches tall. As I was squatting to take the picture, a group of girls (probably JHS or middle school age) saw it and shrieked, balked, shirked.
